TITLE: Associate Attorney
REQUIREMENTS: Juris Doctor (J.D.) or a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from an accredited law school, or the minimum level of education required for admission to any state bar in the United States, is acceptable.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must hold an active U.S. State Bar license to practice law.
JOB DUTIES: Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, including asylum hearings, bond hearings, and deportation defense. Prepare and file applications, petitions, and other legal documents for immigration benefits. Provide legal consultations and develop case strategies tailored to each client’s needs. Communicate with government agencies, including USCIS, ICE, and EOIR, on behalf of clients. Stay up to date with changes in U.S. immigration law and policies. Supervise and mentor paralegals and support staff, delegate case-related tasks, review their work for accuracy and compliance, and collaborate with them to ensure timely and efficient case preparation.
SALARY: $199,000 per year.
