TITLE: Tax Preparers
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and 2 years of experience as Tax Preparers.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and a Fraud Documents Detection Certification.
JOB DUTIES: Prepare income tax return forms for individuals and small businesses. Interview clients to obtain additional information on taxable income, deductible expenses, and allowances. Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures, to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns. Compute taxes owed or overpaid, using calculator or computer software, and complete entries on forms following tax laws and regulations. Verify financial data input into tax preparation software to ensure accuracy of tax return forms prior to submission.
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday.
SALARY: $57,900 per year.
