TITLE: Electrical Engineering Consultant
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
JOB DUTIES: Consult with clients to assess their electrical system requirements and recommend appropriate wire, cable, and tubing products, including hook-up wire, mil-spec wire, coaxial cable, and heat shrink tubing, based on their application needs. (25%) Review product specifications and technical documentation to ensure wire and cable products meet applicable standards, including UL, RoHS, and relevant military specifications, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve compliance issues. (20%) Analyze customer project requirements and provide technical recommendations on wire insulation materials, conductor sizing, and cable configurations to meet performance and regulatory requirements. (25%) Support the development and review of wire harness and cable assembly designs; prepare or review engineering documentation including specifications and bills of materials for customer projects. (20%) Evaluate new products and materials from suppliers; conduct or coordinate product testing and maintain technical records to support quality assurance and certification requirements. (10%)
SALARY: $117,645 per year.
