TITLE: Data Scientist
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent required, or alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s Degree.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of Technical Skills such as Python, SQL, React, and Node.js are required.
JOB DUTIES: Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and high-complexity predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making. Visualization data with ability to tell the story to key partners. Design and develop solutions to complex application problems, large sets of data, system administration issues, or network concerns using software. Create, validate, and test data and test cases. Automate manual workflows to build efficiencies and scale up fraud prevention, investigations, and operational workflows. Provide business recommendations through oral or written presentations to management based on business data analysis and provide technical support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Analyze, manipulate, or process large sets of data using software.
SALARY: $114,754 per year.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Paid travel to unanticipated client sites within the United States is required. The frequency of travel for the position will depend upon the nature of the project and the requirements of the client, but it will not exceed 1 week per month. The employee will be expected to take 3 to 6 trips per year. Travel will not exceed 10% of the employee’s total work hours.
