TITLE: Data Scientist
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related.
JOB DUTIES: Analyze and process large datasets using statistical and analytical software to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the Company’s business objectives. (These duties take approximately 25% of work time.) Clean, organize, and manipulate raw data from multiple sources using statistical tools and programming languages to ensure data quality and accuracy prior to analysis and modeling. (These duties take approximately 20% of work time.) Develop and implement predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast business outcomes such as demand patterns, operational efficiency, and customer behavior trends. Evaluate model performance using statistical metrics and refine models to improve predictive accuracy. (These duties take approximately 20% of work time.) Design and conduct analytical studies, surveys, or data collection methods to gather relevant information needed for business research and performance evaluation. Identify relationships and patterns within the data that may influence operational and strategic decisions. (These duties take approximately 15% of work time.) Create data visualizations, charts, and analytical reports using specialized software tools to communicate analytical findings clearly to management and other stakeholders. (These duties take approximately 10% of work time.) Recommend data-driven solutions to management by translating analytical findings into actionable business strategies, supporting improvements in operational planning, resource allocation, and performance management. (These duties take approximately 10% of work time.)
SALARY: $101,712 per year.
