TITLE: Accounting Officer
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
JOB DUTIES: Analyze financial information and prepare reports on finances, accounting records and financial statements. Maintains accounting ledgers. Records journal entries. Computes, classifies and posts numerical data to accounting software. Maintains record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities. Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable. Reconciles accounts payable and receivable accounts. Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Reconciles bank and vendor statements. Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies. Works and assists external accountant as needed.
SALARY: $55,000.00 per year.
