TITLE: Senior Cost Accountant

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of experience as Cost Accountant or related occupation required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in Spanish; Experience with SAP systems for financial and cost accounting; Experience in production cost analysis and financial evaluation of projects; Experience in financial consolidation processes; Knowledge of international accounting and tax standards, particularly related to South America.

JOB DUTIES: Analyze, monitor, and report on production costs, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and cost control strategies. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform financial analysis of operations and expansion projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including consolidation of financial data across entities. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting and tax regulations, particularly for operations in South America. Generate detailed financial reports and provide recommendations to support business decision-making. Utilize and support SAP systems for accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting functions. Collaborate with management on financial planning and operational efficiency initiatives.

SALARY: $101,899 per year.
