TITLE: Electronics Engineer
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 60 months of experience in electrical or electronic engineering, including experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic systems.
JOB DUTIES: Provide technical support and expertise to Greenfield’s largest U.S. customer (multi-million $ project / 10+ years). Design, implement, maintain, and improve high-precision electronic and timing instrumentation and embedded controller systems for scientific, defense, and industrial applications. Confer with engineers and customers to define project requirements, resolve technical issues, and support ongoing engineering improvements. Coordinate technical support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Operate computer-assisted engineering/design tools to perform engineering tasks. Use engineering software tools to design and validate circuits and embedded electronic components; develop test approaches; evaluate performance and reliability; and support engineering modifications based on customer feedback and project needs. Perform detailed engineering calculations and technical analysis to establish design and manufacturing specifications. Perform calculations and analysis to confirm design feasibility, performance limits, component selection, and electrical tolerances; establish specifications required for prototype builds and production readiness. Direct and coordinate prototype/manufacturing support and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications. Support prototype builds and early manufacturing phases; coordinate and supervise subcontractors producing prototype units; validate performance and reliability; troubleshoot nonconformities; and provide engineering support to prepare for manufacturing scale-up and deployment. Internal developments / technical internal supervision. Design, develop, integrate, and test internal high-precision electronic systems and firmware for advanced electronic systems. Supervise internal technical workstreams and coordinate engineering tasks needed for updates, enhancements, and performance improvements to meet internal quality standards and customer-driven requests. Prepare technical drawings/specifications and compile data to write engineering reports and documentation. Prepare and maintain engineering design documentation, design review materials, test reports, technical manuals, and manufacturing documentation to support internal deliverables, customer requirements, and production readiness. Company administration. Assist with operational engineering support tasks such as coordination among teams, documentation control, reporting support, configuration tracking, and preparation of technical specifications for procurement-related engineering needs to support project execution.
SALARY: $197,558 per year.
