TITLE: Accountant
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is required.
JOB DUTIES: Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly reconciliations. Analyze transportation, warehousing, and freight-service expenses to ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with internal accounting policies. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including cash flow summaries and profit-and-loss statements, for management review. Assist with budgeting and forecasting, tracking operational spending related to customs clearance, trucking, and logistics services. Ensure compliance with federal and state accounting regulations, supporting annual tax preparation and coordination with external accountants.
SALARY: $64,917 per year.
