TITLE: International Market Development Specialist

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies and 5 years of experience with consumer product development and sales, knowledge of international markets and direct sales marketing and strategies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Know how to use the following softwares: Google Analytics – Web traffic, audience insights, and campaign tracking; Salesforce / HubSpot – CRM and lead management; Tableau / Power BI – Data visualization and market trend reporting; SEMrush / Ahrefs – SEO and competitive market analysis; Excel (Advanced) – Forecasting, pivot tables, and data modeling; Marketo / Mailchimp – Email marketing and automation; SurveyMonkey / Qualtrics – Survey creation and customer insights; Mintel / Statista / Euromonitor – Global market research databases; Google Ads / Meta Ads Manager – International digital advertising; Canva / Adobe Creative Suite – Marketing content and graphic design.

JOB DUTIES: Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex insights into actionable written recommendations. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies across a broad range of geographies and nationalities, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other experts. Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, including surveys, opinion polls, questionnaires, or by arranging to obtain existing datasets. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs to inform strategy optimization. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends by analyzing collected data to support revenue growth and market responsiveness. Gather competitive intelligence on pricing, sales strategies, marketing approaches, and distribution methods within the financial services sector. Monitor industry statistics and follow global trends in financial services, regulatory changes, and trade literature. Attend internal conferences to provide management with insights and proposals regarding product promotion, distribution strategies, service design, and pricing models. Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs and tailoring campaigns to specific international markets. Conduct market opportunity assessments in target countries, considering regulatory feasibility, local financial regulations, and tax implications. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and product teams to ensure all expansion efforts and campaigns meet local financial regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, GDPR, MiFID II, PSD2). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving international financial legislation and translate compliance requirements into business strategy. Identify and support the development of strategic partnerships and distribution models across global markets. Analyze regional fintech and financial product landscapes to benchmark competitors and uncover innovation opportunities. Guide localization of product offerings, marketing materials, and user experience based on regional cultural, economic, and legal factors. Partner with finance and risk teams to create pricing models that reflect local conditions, currency risks, and cost structures. Develop frameworks to monitor cross-border regulatory changes and proactively mitigate compliance risks.

SALARY: $99,174 per year.
