TITLE: Truck Driver
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and 6 months of experience as a Truck Driver.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Ohio CDL class A of within 60 days from employment.
JOB DUTIES: Operate commercial vehicle, safely transport goods. Inspect all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy, maintain vehicle logs, inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure, performed routine vehicle inspections for mechanical, safety, and emergency. Verify cargo against shipping documents and report any discrepancies. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers. Follow all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Travel to state of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan. Frequency of travel 90%; traveling to deliver goods within 150 miles radius of place of employment.
SALARY: $58,448 per year.
