TITLE: Project Engineers (Full-Time) (Multiple Positions)
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mining Engineering, Tunnel Engineering, Civil Engineering, or closely related degree; 1 year experience in the offered position as a Tunnel Engineer, Mining Engineer, or closely related role.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated knowledge of finite elemental analysis, design calculations, technical design submissions, geotechnical investigation, and tunnel or trenchless design. Knowledge can be gained through college-level education, certification, and or experience. Must have experience in construction management; must have a Professional Engineer (Civil) license in any U.S. state or be eligible for licensure (must have passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam in Civil Engineering and be pursuing Professional Engineer licensure in any U.S. state).
JOB DUTIES: Manage SOE (support of excavation) services, tunnel, trenchless projects. Manage geotechnical instrumentation projects. Perform construction inspections and oversight of underground projects. Oversee and coordinate all tunnel/trenchless aspects of a construction project. Perform design calculations for multiple aspects of underground construction projects Develop technical design submittals. Perform geotechnical investigations. Prepare preliminary tunnel & trenchless designs as directed.
SALARY: $93,662 per year – 160,000 per year.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Travel to unanticipated project sites throughout the U.S. (10-15%).
