TITLE: Lawyer
REQUIREMENTS: J.D. or LLM in Law, Corporate Law, Bankruptcy Law.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be admitted to the NYS Bar within 1 year of hire.
JOB DUTIES: Draft pleadings relating to Corporate Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases and individual bankruptcy cases. Attend mediation sessions seeking to resolve client disputes. Observe Federal Bankruptcy Court Hearings. Interview clients to analyze whether bankruptcy filing is appropriate. Conduct lien searches. Attend depositions.
SALARY: $99,000 per year.
