TITLE: Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition or other related field.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: New York license to practice as a registered dietitian.

JOB DUTIES: Plan therapeutic diets and implement preparation and service of meals for patients to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease; consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of dialysis patients; educate patients about nutrition, healthy eating and the role of food in promoting health and preventing disease.

SALARY: $43.00 per hour.
